Ave Verum Corpus for clarinet ensemble

$8.00

Though very simple and short, this is considered to be one of the most beautiful pieces ever written. Mozart composed it in 1791 in honor of Anton Stoll, the choirmaster of Saint Stephan Church in Baden bei Wien, for SATB, strings, and organ. It is certainly suitable for clarinets, which can have a very vocal sound. The parts are simple, with only the first clarinet having any notes above high C. The full version is for 4 Bb clarinets plus bass clarinet, which could be played on Bb as needed. The 4th Bb part is optional, allowing this to be a quartet if desired.
