Whence is That Goodly Fragrance? for voice and flute trio

This arrangement of a beautiful 17th century French carol, with music from the 1778 Beggars Opera by John Gay, uses C, alto, and bass flutes to accompany a vocal part. It presents a nice balance between the vocal and instrumental parts while providing an interesting departure from purely instrumental or vocal presentations. It is suitable for religious settings as well as the concert stage.
