Trilogy of Songs for flute sextet and string bass optional

These delightful songs are based on poems by Juan Ramón Jiménez(1881-1958), a well-known Spanish poet who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1956. The three songs here are based on poems found in his publication entitled “Cuadernos.” These works were produced from 1925 to 1935, before the Spanish Civil War and before he self-exiled to Cuba, the United States, and then Puerto Rico.
