The Little Bell for flute ensemble

$9.00

The Little Bell “Kolokolchic” is a beautiful and haunting Russian Folk Song by Alexander Gurilev (1803 – 1858).

Born in Moscow, Gurilev was famous for his ballads and popular songs. This particular one describes a man traveling by coach who hears the distant ringing of the type of bell that often was worn by horses.

The sound of that bell conjures up memories of his Russian Homeland. In the audio sample below, Paul Fried is performing all the flute parts.
