The Journey of Life for flute and string octet

With this meditative piece, the composer contemplates life from the womb to the tomb. The time during which it was written (February and March of 2022) many people were facing the terror of wars and the uncertainties of a worldwide pandemic. The composer is also reflecting upon two other aspects of life he was experiencing at the time – the passing away of a beloved friend, and the constant certainty of aging.
