Super Flumina for flute ensemble

This is a prime example of an Italian Renaissance vocal piece lending itself quite well to being adapted for flutes. Expressive lyrical lines are vital to interpretation, as is a minimal vibrato. As one of Palestrina’s more famous motets (composed in 1581), it needs a very balanced and pure interpretation from performers.
