Pictures at an Exhibition – Promenade, Tuileries for flute quintet

This arrangement from Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” provides a short “Promenade” followed by a musical depiction of a children’s playground. The “Tuileries Garden Playground” is a famous park in Paris, located close to the Louvre Museum. It’s easy to imagine the children playing and wrestling in the joyful sunshine. It is a delightful gem as a flute quintet.
