This short dance piece was composed while thinking about old towns, such as Williamsburg, VA, where the composer lives, or San Juan, Peurto Rico, where the composer grew up. It should be played in a simple, yet elegant way, suave and with a continuous lilting feeling from beginning to end. In a live dancing setting, it would likely be repeated as the dancers twirl away. This arrangement includes an optional C flute part in addition to the transposed alto part.
