Nutcracker – Danse Arabe for flute ensemble

In Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Nutcracker”, the Sugar Plum Fairy has a big Yule Ball in her castle, inviting a lot of foreign guests: The Arabian Dance leads us into the world of Arabian coffee scents as well as to the mysteries of story telling

This is a mysterious slow movement, dark and sweet as the Arabian Coffee or as the night before Christmas. It works well with either five players or with a full flute orchestra.
