Medley of Traditional Christmas Songs from Puerto Rico for flute quintet

Three traditional Puerto Rican Christmas songs are presented here: We Come from a Faraway Land; Greetings, Greetings; and Le-lo-lay, a joyful song. They are melodies that are very well known on the island, having been sung ever since the mid nineteenth century. They are usually part of the tradition when groups of singers move from house, gathering more participants as they go.
