Lost at Midnight for trumpet quintet

Imagine walking alone in an eerie misty setting just before midnight. This trumpet quintet emulates Big Ben, adding to the spooky setting and prompting scary images in the shadows. Two trumpets develop a musical chase scene that continues as the chime theme ultimately brings on morning’s first light. Gradually, the fears of the night fall away. With the relief, the sky is filled with morning colors and the chimes signal safety from being lost at midnight.
