Lolita (Caprice Espanol) for flute quartet

$11.00

Lolita is a light, energetic Spanish old-style dance. It is an arrangement from an original piano piece (op. 54, in 1890) of Cecile Chaminade. She (1857-1944) was a very prolific French composer who enjoyed much success in that vocation, even though she was a woman. She wrote mostly character pieces for piano and salon songs, almost all of which were published. She toured and received great acclaim in both England and the United States.
