Liebestraum for flute sextet

$6.00

Liszt’s Liebestraum is a technical “tour de force” for pianists. It also has a great melody and interesting chordal progressions that made it worth modifying the waterfall-like flourishes of the piano original into phrases more reasonably playable by flutes. The intriguing interplay of harmonies is emphasized in this arrangement over blinding speed, although the melody surrounding the cadenzas was typically not played terribly fast.
