Find through these three pieces by composer Gabriel Pierné the children’s games of your grandparents’ playgrounds: hopscotch, swing, and hide and seek. Simple and elegant, they are also delightfully self-descriptive, providing for many smiles. They are not technically difficult except for the third one with the E in the higher register, pushing it into a little more difficult range.
