How Brightly Shines the Morning Star for flute and handbells

What a combination … the sparkling morning star as depicted by suspended malleted handbells, antiphonal handbell and handchime choirs in close harmonies, and topped off by an ethereal flute descant!  This piece with its beautiful flowing melody is a memorable addition to our repertoire.  Another option for overall instrumentation would be to play the handbell and handchime parts on piano, keyboard, xylophone, or vibraphone.  Creativity is the key!
