Histoires for flute septet

$16.00

Jacques Ibert‘s Histoires is a collection of ten impressionistic piano pieces that he composed between 1912 and 1922 while in Rome at the French Academy. They were inspired by the sights he appreciated during his travels through Spain, Italy, and Tunisia. Known for the vivid images they evoke, these five selections are for a flute ensemble of 2 C flutes (one alternating on piccolo), 2 alto flutes, 2 bass flutes, and one contrabass flute.
