Gypsy for flute ensemble

$10.00

The listener of this traditional Eastern European dance will be tempted to sway to its pulse and possibly imagine another part of the world.

The solos are shared with the piccolos and flute one, while the melody moves through all parts. There is an optional bass clef part for a string bass, cello or bassoon if the choir doesn’t have a contrabass flute.

Gypsy should be played in a legato style for the drone effect. Its molto accelerando ending results in a fiery climax.
