Gathering of the Clan for flute quartet

This piece is characterizing the rallying of close-knit Celts from the distant Highlands together for a joyful extended family celebration. Even though the various families have their own characteristic style, they have the common ancestries that bond them together. We can hear about their long journey and the great festivities that follow. The drum part adds a nice touch, but is optional. Here is a good opportunity to teach duplet-triplet interplay.​
