Dancing Angels for flute octet and string bass optional

$17.00

“Dedicated to the Dancers of the World”, this piece is intended to be danced, if not by actual dancers, by interpretations in our minds. I carried the melodies in my head and with brief annotations on paper for several years, not understanding their meaning. Upon seeing the grace of some dancers on TV, I suddenly “saw” my dancers adorned with lights of all colors celebrating the life of their bodies through movement. The flutists’ bodies should sway with the rhythms, helping the audience follow the joy of dance-like motion. With boundless happiness, the ending chords are clearly a resounding Hallelujah, the Amen of being alive as part of the universe!
