Adagio from Concerto No 5 for flute sextet

$12.00

An achingly beautiful melody marks Beethoven’s Adagio movement from his Concerto #5 originally for piano. This arrangement for flute ensemble works well transposed a half step up from the original key while utilizing the lower range of the C flutes powerfully. B-foot is required for several of the parts. There are no serious technical hurdles. Trills appearing in the piccolo part are not intended to be duplicated on flutes to avoid muddying the melody. Enjoy the resonating sonorous harmonies.
