Gary Lanier is a prolific composer, arranger, an orchestrator, with more than 1,000 published works including adult musicals, youth musicals, children’s musicals, choral collections octavos, solos, worship choruses, orchestrations, and instrumental music ranging from classical to contemporary styles.
His education while at the University of North Texas in Denton afforded him the opportunity to study Composition with Merle Ellis and Dr. William Latham, and Theory Pedagogy with Dr. Robert Ottman.
He and his wife, Valleta, currently reside in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and they enjoy working as a team. Through multiple outlets Gary’s music is being used in more than 170 countries around the world.
