Combine a popular 1905 hymn with a final choral movement from one of the Masters, and you have this significant addition to the Christmas season’s repertoire. As the two melodies develop and intertwine, all flute parts have ample opportunities to make significant contributions to the whole. The momentum of these two glorious melodic themes flows together as they complement each other.
