“The Skye Boat Song” is a popular Scottish Folk Song that was passed down many generations before being first published in 1884. Words were written by Sir Harold Edwin Boulton telling the story of the escape of Bonnie Prince Charlie from Uist to the Isle of Skye after he was defeated at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.

Arranged for 3 C Flutes and Alto Flute; a 4th Optional Flute part is included for those groups not fortunate to have an Alto Flute.
