Capricho Arabe for flute quintet

$13.00

Capricho Arabe was written originally for classical guitar by Francisco Tarrega (1852-1909), a Spanish guitarist and composer who is known as the father of the modern classical guitar. During his adolescent years, Santiago-Ortiz heard an impressive performance of it that stayed in his memory bank. Years later, being a guitarist and flutist himself, he transferred the enchanting melody lines to a small flute ensemble with intricate harmonies. As this piece was composed in the romantic era, it should be performed with feelings of freedom and wonder.
